Pretty tough night for baseball. The greatest record in the sport's history falls and I was upset that they prempted "The bronx Is Burning". I'm not kidding. It was on at 7 and 9 so I waited for the 9 then he hits it. That should say something...I was more interested in a shi**y, poorly made tv docudrama than I was with a record being broken.

I swear there must have been some guy off camera with a gun pointed to hank Arron's head making him do that pre taped announcement. Looked like a PSA

Bonds is missing two important letters:

Aaron = class

Bonds = ass

From my perspective there are a couple more points to ponder...............Both Jerry and Barry Bonds were the cause of some very uncomfortable discussions with my students and the players on my soccer team. Do I like the music and do I support it? Yes!! How can I do so when its creator was a drug user and advocate? Do I think hitting 73 HRs in a season is an accomplishment? Yes! How can I say that when it was done by a cheater? Right or wrong here is my reasoning....

Jerry was a "kind" humble man who gave away his gift, made people happy, took care of his friends and family and seemed to want to share whatever he could.

Barry Bonds is a selfish egotistical man who uses his gift for personal gain, even enhancing it with drugs regardless of the effect it has on others. Barry Bonds is only in it for himself.

If I have to choose one of these people to feel good about there really does not seem to me to be any debate needed.
